About Us
618 Fix My Rv was founded in 2019 by Rodger and Julie Hughes. Rodger and Julie are avid campers. During their search for a new camper in 2019, it became obvious that there was a large need for camper repair services in southern Illinois. 618 Fix My Rv continues to grow with that demand to this day.
Starting out in Mt. Vernon Illinois, 618 did business in the middle of downtown on a small fenced in city lot with an even smaller 2 bay garage (that couldn't fit a camper!). During the spring of 2021 the decision was made to relocate to a larger facility and the search began for a new location.
Construction began in October of 2021 on the new location at 11368 Skylane Drive in Benton Illinois. This new facility consists of a 5000 sq. ft. shop with 3 bays and a small retail space. The building is situated on 2 fenced in acres just 5 minutes away from beautiful Rend Lake. The first customer rolled into the shop in March of 2022 while the building was still being finished.
